Dear Individual Therapy Clients:

Below, you will find 5 therapeutic approaches to healing that have informed the way I practice.  Each of these avenues may lead to ‘rapid’ recovery from dysfunctional emotional and cognitive patterns.

The word ‘rapid’ is relative.  For some people, a session which incorporate’s any of the following modalities will likely lead to relief of symptoms.  Used in conjunction with our normal ‘talk therapy’ dialogue, you are likely to experience an immediate shift in consciousness.  This then leads to change and the opportunity for you to make creative and productive choices in your Life.

Brainspotting (BSP)

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms.

Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR)

TIR is a rapid (compared to traditional therapy) method of effectively reducing traumatic stress from emotionally and/or physically painful events in the past. It involves re-experiencing past traumas in a completely safe environment, free of distractions, judgments, or interpretations.

LI is a new technique which promotes rapid healing in adults who experienced abuse and/or neglect during childhood.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

SE is a form of therapy aimed at relieving and resolving the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental and physical trauma-related health problems by focusing on perceived body sensations (or somatic experiences).
